Josh and I worked on a few boxes that he had packed from the old house.
We found a baseball card from 1926. I looked on the internet for information on him. I could not find anything. I wrote a few card brokers.
This is the information I have found out. This is the name of our baseball player.

Our card was the Zeenut card. The Zeenut cards were issued by the Collins-McCarthy Co. annually from 1911 through 1936. All of the cards featured players from the Pacific Coast League teams. They are rarely found outside of the west coast states.
The ZeeNut we have is worth around $6 to $10 or so. ZeeNuts were a candy. The corners of the cards were clipped by children, and the cards were flipped to a wall/curb. Whoever got closest won the cards being flipped.
Bill Cunningham is my husband's grandfather. Do you still have the card?
ReplyDeleteMy son has the card.
